Foundations on the densified basement with the tamped sole – extremely economic and reliable foundations that are universal under any soil conditions
Thanks to newly created technologies in the base of drilled and tamped foundations there emerged a real opportunity to control deformity of the basement under each individual foundation, a single purpose of which is to have equivalence of settings of entire construction. The essence of this method is that the sole of foundation of desirable size is tamped under the prospective foundation in the required depth from a breakstone, which circular shape is close to a sphere. If to dig out such foundation and to clean off its surface accurately, then the following image would appear as shown in this picture. A width and other parameters of the sole are usually measured and determined during the course of works and are dependent only on the following two issues: the testing results of the soil at that particular site and the size of a load falling on that particular foundation.
